I was active in sports and other forms of physical fitness. However, like many, injuries in sports, long working hours and high stressed deadlines took its toll on my physical body, immunity and self-confidence.
I took up yoga from a curative perspective and it was an eye opener. My interest took me to several countries to undertake yoga teacher trainings. I had the privilege of studying yoga with both Indian masters and Western teachers, allowing me to merge the modern research-based knowledge of the West and unique approach of self-healing based in ancient Eastern philosophy.
I am the founder of Aliya Agha Academy of Internal Arts, a hub of ancient disciplines learning. In 2021, I was appointed as the Regional Director for Pakistan by World Yoga Federation. I am passionate about teaching the ancient discipline of yoga as a Science and Art. I consider myself to be lucky enough to impart this knowledge among others so that they can live life to the fullest!
